Top Ten Tuesday: 2020 Releases Part 1

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020. I have a growing list of 2020 releases I can’t wait to read, but here are the ten I’m most excited for.

Lucky Caller by Emma Mills: I love Emma Mills books and this one sounds just as adorable as the others.

The Stars We Steal by Alexa Donne: I enjoyed Alexa Donne’s retelling of Jane Eyre in space, Brightly Burning, so I’m excited to return to the same universe but with a retelling of Persuasion.

The Deathless Divide by Justina Ireland: Even though I don’t like zombies, Dread Nation was so epic. I can’t wait to see what trouble Jane finds herself in this time.

Harley in the Sky by Akemi Dawn Bowman: I love stories about the circus, so even though I don’t know much about this book, it sounds intriguing!

Between Burning Worlds by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell: Sky Without Stars was one of my favorite reads in 2019, so I need the next book ASAP. I’m ready for the revolution, people!

The Seven Endless Forests by April Genevieve Tucholke: The Boneless Mercies was a dark fantasy oozing with beautiful descriptions and kickass ladies. I expect nothing less from April’s newest book.

Ruthless Gods by Emily A. Duncan: Wicked Saints ended on a cliffhanger that left me impressed with the book. I need book two.

Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: Okay, but how could I not be excited for the book with my favorite space elf boy on the cover?

Dark Skies by Danielle L. Jensen: Pirates, centurions, magic… I need more of this world and these characters.

House of Dragons by Jessica Cluess: This book was added to my TBR because it has dragons in the title, but the synopsis sounds pretty dope as well.

  1. Great list! I’ve been seeing Deathless Divide everywhere today. I clearly need to read the first one. House of Dragons sounds really good I need to add that one to my TBR list. Thanks for sharing! Have a great week.

    • If you can handle zombie stories, Dread Nation is a lot of fun. Or even if you can’t, because I don’t usually like them, you might enjoy it.

      Thank you! 🙂
