As I’m sure this has been a difficult or at least uncertain week for everybody, it’s important to focus on the good, instead of the panic. So what’s making you happy this week?
- I’m not sick.
- We have toilet paper. (And no, we did not go out and buy a crazy amount. We already had some.)
- Getting my Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch
- Visiting family and just having fun playing card games and eating food and talking
- Learning about DragonRaid and that my dad still owns it. We gonna play it.
- A supportive and understanding church family
- My co-worker telling me he’ll miss talking to me while we’re off work for an undetermined time
- Having enough reading material for the next few weeks
- The preventative measures my state, work, and church are taking to help keep the virus from hitting everybody at once. It seems excessive at times, but the intent behind everything is for the good of people and the hospitals and staff.
- William battled the insanity of the grocery store to buy me food.
Books and toilet paper were also on my list 😂

I normally have a large stock of toilet paper in the house (well, okay, we store it in the garage) so I was glad I didn’t have to join the crazy people searching for it. I am also glad of the extra time to sit and knit or read or play video games.
But (aside from my family’s health) the biggest thing right now is that I’m happy I can work from home while all this is going on. I didn’t think that was going to be an option, and I was starting to really stress out about how much catch-up I was going to have to do once we’re all allowed to return to the office.

I’m glad you’re able to work from home and also have time to do other stuff. I work at a library so there isn’t much I can do from home, but there are a few things (mainly updating our social media platforms).
And yay for toilet paper stock! 🙂

Yeah, I was thinking back to other jobs I’ve had, and while one or two would have been able to be done from home, many of them wouldn’t. I normally feel pretty good about my life, but I feel even more lucky about it now. If this had happened at a different point in my life, I would have been in a lot more trouble.

When we look at the positive side of things & just make the most of the moments we’re given …happiness comes easier. Yes, this is possible in the midst of this madness . Inspiring positive read . Thanks
