This week has been the roughest of the whole “stay at home” thing despite having a lot of good moments, I’ve just been feeling super “blah” about everything. I really needed to make this list. What’s making your happy this week?
- Chicken enchiladas with lots of cheese and sour cream
- Friends I can talk to about writing and trust to give me good feedback on my stories
- Blowing bubbles with my nephews
- Good books. Always.
- Spending time outside and getting exercise
- Filling three trash bags full of clothes to donate (and more to set aside for creative projects)
- Gooey brownies with M&Ms
- Character development in my current WIP that makes me want to weep
- Playing Luigi’s Mansion 3 with William and being both scared and humored by it at the same time
- William carrying around my nephew in the baby backpack and both of them being super cute
I hope the week starts looking up for you. I’ve been having a worse time of it the past couple weeks than I did at the start, too. I think it’s partly just (“just”… ha….) a build-up of the minor anxiety levels I’ve been dealing with since this started into something a little less minor. Finding ways to combat that hasn’t been easy for me, but I’m getting there, and I hope you find something that works for you too.
