Top Ten Tuesday: Summer 2020 TBR

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books on My Summer 2020 TBR. So many books, not enough time! I hope to read these titles over the next few months.

Thick as Thieves by Megan Whalen Turner: This is the last book I have to read in The Queen’s Thief series before the new one comes out. I can’t wait!

The Princess Will Save You by Sara Henning: Since this book has been advertised as inspired by The Princess Bride, I’m intrigued. It seems crazy that such a story is classic enough to inspire a YA novel, but that’s also why I want to read it!

The Faithless Hawk by Margaret Owen: I need this book seven months ago!

Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston: I was a bit sad the date of this was bumped back to August, but I’m glad it’s still coming. I cannot wait!

Sal and Gabi Break the Universe by Carlos Hernandez: I want to read more of the Rick Riordan Presents booksโ€”how did I miss so many of them?โ€”and since this duology is complete, I hope to read both books this summer.

Splinters of Scarlet by Emily Bain Murphy: I was approved an early copy of this through NetGalley and I’m so excited to read it! I need more historical fantasy books in my life.

The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood by HowardPyle: I have several Barnes and Noble collectible classics and I want to actually read them and not just hoard them on my shelf. I want to start with this one.

The Moment of Tenderness by Madeleine L’Engle: I haven’t read any non-fiction by L’Engle yet, so I’m excited for this new collection.

Star Wars audiobooks: I’m dedicating my audiobook time to Star Wars books for the foreseeable future. I’m determined to listen through all the Disney Canon books first, then try to tackle what I can of the Legends. I don’t know what order I’ll be able to read them since it depends on which holds come in first, but I’m excited to return to the galaxy.

TBR books: As always, I have tons of books on my physical TBR shelf. I decided to join author Jessica Brody for her 30 Books in 3 Months Challenge and I want those 30 books (because I know I can read more than that in the next three months) to be either ARCs or books I own that I haven’t read or want to reread. Should be a challenge to get it done!

What books are you hoping to read this summer? Don’t forget to join the link-up!

    • Hahah, it’s the Thing to Do! XD They’re too pretty NOT to buy, but also who has time to read them all? Just kidding!

And yes, I’m so glad it’s coming out, too! I was worried the virus would change so many things.
