  1. The excitement of children… especially when they’re hyped up on sugar and ice cream
  2. Writing haikus and tankas with my teen writers
  3. Eating french toast with family
  4. Celebrating my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary
  5. Finding that last stupid summer bug on Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  6. Playing cornhole and not really caring or trying and earning the most points
  7. Talking to my friends about writing and stories
  8. Finally being able to wear my new Totoro hoodie!
  9. Starting The Legend of Korra
  10. William’s upbeat optimism and happiness
