This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers (in honor of Mardis Gras, which is today!), but I didn’t really know how to go about making a list for that so instead I have another alphabetical post. Also, this is the last one! How did I do it?!

- Post your favourite authors, books and characters (ABCs) for a particular letter of the alphabet
I thought the letter Z would be difficult, but it wasn’t. I found two for each category, which is awesome!
Authors
Francesca Zappia: I’ve only read Eliza and Her Monsters, but I absolutely adored it so she gets a spot on my list. I don’t know if I have any interest in her other books, though.
Markuz Zusak: The Book Thief is incredible and I’m still not ready to revisit it. (It’s only been like 8 years!) But I do want to read some of his other books soon.
Books
Z for Zachariah by Robert C. O’Brien: I read this book in high school and I remember being fascinated by it.
Zero the Hero by Joan Holub: This is a fun picture book about numbers, and I can’t resist anything with superheroes!
Characters
Hector Zeroni from Holes by Louis Sachar: Hector is such a great character for a number of reasons. I just love this book so much.
Nina Zenik from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: I usually tell people I don’t have a favorite character from Six of Crows, but Nina is one of my favorite Bardugo characters because she is such a badass and so strong and goes through so much. Plus, I appreciate when a female character is tall. It connects me to them in another way.

I’ve started planning for my “Z” post, and it looks like I’m going to have to pull from my TBR list in order to get all of the book titles and authors. (Unless I read some of them really soon. 😉 ) But, I was able to add Zen Cho to my list of favorite authors, and Zachary from The Starless Sea to my favorite characters!

I struggled too because there just aren’t that many Z titles and authors, but I’m glad you found a few that will work! 🙂
