Top Ten Tuesday: Places in Books I’d Love to Live

This Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Places In Books I’d Love to Live. This list could go on and on and on and on, but I’ll just limit it to these ten.

Avonlea from Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery: Maybe it’s because I just reread the book and watched the movie, but Prince Edward Island and Avonlea and Green Gables sounds like a dream come true for a place to live.

The Shire from the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien: Okay, but who doesn’t want to live in the Shire?

Narnia from The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis: I’d probably be happy living anywhere in Narnia, but Castle Cair Paravel sounds absolutely splendid to spend my days.

The Rampion from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer: At times, it might get a little small if there’s a lot of people hanging around, but I would love to live in a spaceship and fly around the world visiting different places alongside Thorne and Cress.

Thisby from The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater: I think I could handle the whole man eating waterhorse angle if I could just breathe in that salty air of Thisby. It might not seem like much, but it has its own charm.

Great Library from Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson: Now, books that can turn into monsters sounds awfully dangerous, but how enchanting would it be to live in a magical library?!

Berk from How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell: I’m cheating a little because while I listed the book, I’m imaging the dragon filled island from the movies. I just love how it evolves over the trilogy. So beautiful.

House from the Dreamhouse Kings series by Robert Liparulo: Now I wouldn’t want the spooky aspects of this house, but once it’s cleaned up and everything is put back in its proper doorway, this house would be so cool to live. Not only does it have that old house charm, but the upstairs has magical portals to different times and places!

Pemberley from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen: Is this really a list of bookish places if Pemberley isn’t included on it?

Castle house from Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston: This could be a place that exists in our world and I must find it! I’d love to live in a house built to be like a castle with a giant library filled with sci-fi novels. Come on!
