This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books on My Winter 2021 To-read List. As always, here are books I hope to read sometime in the next few months. Nothing is set in stone and I’m sure I’ll read other titles that aren’t on this list.
For review: My NetGalley ARCs seem to be multiplying… I have a few I need to read before March, including Bound by Firelight by Dana Swift, Edgewood by Kristen Ciccarelli, The Summer We Forgot by Caroline George, The Bone Wars by Erin Evan, A Far Wilder Magic by Allison Saft, and Great or Nothing by multiple authors.
New books: As always, I’ll be keeping an eye out for new releases. A few I’m looking forward to include Of Fire and Ash by Gillian Bronte Adams, Rebellion of the Lost by Amie Kaufman and Ryan Graudin, My Fine Fellow by Jennieke Cohen, and I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys.
Book Club books: I don’t know all of the titles I have to read for my book clubs, but here are the ones for sure. Chasing Starlight by Teri Bailey Black, Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson, Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer, and Small Favors by Erin A. Craig. Most of them are rereads.
TBR books: One of my 2022 reading goals is to try to get through my physical TBR books. I didn’t do as great this year as I had hoped so I think there are more than I expected. But I’m determined to read through most of them!
Audiobooks: I’ll be continuing through the Odyssey Award audiobooks as well as listening to more Star Wars audiobooks.
Non-Fiction: A new reading goal for 2022 is to read more non-fiction books. I attempted to do so this year and while I reached my goal, I know I can do even better. I want to read one non-fiction book a month.
Redwall series: I want to try to start a read through of the Redwall series. As a kid I read a few of them but never finished the series so I want to start from the beginning. I don’t know if I’ll finish the whole series in one year, but I want to read at least one a month.
Small Favors! I still need to read that one… I don’t know where the time has gone, I thought for sure I’d have started that book before this. Happy reading!

Good for you for reading more non-fiction in 2022! There are so many fantastic options out there. Have you narrowed down what types of non-fiction you’re interested in yet?

I haven’t narrowed it down at all. Maybe by reading different things next year I’ll figure it out!

One non-fiction book a month is such a good goal! I have been considering something similar.

Great list! I remain surprised that I never read the Redwall series as a child – especially when I loved books about animals – and I hope you enjoy it. One of these days I need to give it a try myself!

I only read book one or two! I don’t know why I never continued because I liked them a lot. Maybe I just didn’t know there were more. 🙂
