Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Pre-Ordered This Year

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is another Bookish Wishes, but I’m not going to include any type of link to my wishlist. Instead, I’m just going to mention the books I’ve decided to pre-order this year. I don’t pre-order a ton of books because they’ve expensive and I can usually get everything I want to read through my library. But every year there are authors I want to support who release books. Here are the ones I have already pre-ordered or plan to pre-order this year.

The Summer We Forgot by Caroline George: I read an early copy of this from NetGalley and will basically read anything Caroline George writes. I’m glad I ordered a physical copy because there are extra things that weren’t in the eARC like maps and chat messages and handwritten notes and such.

I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys: I will read everything Ruta Sepetys writes and she’s pretty much on my auto-buy author list at this point.

Tenth Anniversary Collector’s Edition of Cinder by Marissa Meyer: I own a regular hardback of Cinder but I love when books have special editions. This one is so freaking pretty.

The Wonderland Trials by Sara Ella: This was a pre-order I debated about for a while since I haven’t enjoyed Sara Ella’s other books as much as I want. But since it’s coming from a smaller publishing house, I think it’ll be harder to find via a library so I decided to take a gamble on it.

Furysong by Rosaria Munda: This is probably my most anticipated release for the year. I cannot wait to have all three books in the series together!

Wishtress by Nadine Brandes: I also received an early copy of this through NetGalley, but I pre-ordered it to support Nadine.

Cursed by Marissa Meyer: Again, Marissa Meyer is almost always an auto-buy author for me. And after reading Gilded, I need this book.

The Shattered City by Lisa Maxwell: I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for the final book in this series to come out.

Greywaren by Maggie Stiefvater: I technically don’t have this pre-ordered because I’m hoping Owlcrate will have an exclusive edition like they did for the other two books in the series.

Saint by Adrienne Young: This is another one that I haven’t pre-ordered yet. I love the books in this series, but I don’t own any of the others (yet). I’m really excited for this one. Should I just go for it and pre-order?
