Top Ten Tuesday: Summer 2022 TBR

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books On My Summer 2022 To-Read List. As always, I have a lot of different books I try to read. Here are just some I hope to get to.

New books: There are always new books coming out. Here are a few coming out soon that I’m looking forward to. The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston, The Wonderland Trials by Sara Ella, Empty Smiles by Katherine Arden, and Furysong by Rosaria Munda.

NetGalley ARCs: I don’t have a ton of ARCs at the moment since I’m trying not to request too many. But I’ve got a few I need to tackle this summer and a few that don’t have a specific timeframe to read that I might give a chance. The Year Without Summer by Arlene Mark; Three Kisses, One Midnight by Roshani Chokshi, Sandhya Menon, and Evelyn Skye; maybe Rebel, Brave and Brutal by Shannon Dittemore or The Sunken City by Emma V.R. Noyes.

Book Clubs: I’m sort of in three book clubs. I don’t know all the books we’re going to read this summer, but I know a few, which include Lovely War by Julie Berry, Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.

TBR books: I’m still making my way through my physical TBR books. I had hoped to read about 5 per month to stay on track, but I didn’t always get to them. So my goal now is just to read as many as I can by the end of the year.

Audiobooks: I’m still ploughing through with audiobooks. I’m working through the Star Wars Disney canon books, the Rick Riordan Presents books, and the Odyssey Award winners and nominees. For some of the Odyssey Award books, I have to read the previous books in the series so I’m starting through the Harry Potter books this summer.

Rereads: I’m still reading through Beverly Cleary‘s books. Some are rereads and some I never read. I’m also planning to reread a few books in preparation for a sequel release, like Fireborne and Flamefall by Rosaria Munda.

What books are you hoping to read this summer? Don’t forget to join the link-up!

    • One I have to do for work (library book club) and one I only attend when I want to read the book they pick XD So it seems like a lot more than it is. And we don’t always meet every month for all of them. πŸ™‚

    • Sometimes I put more books on my TBR than I actually read. These are just all options for things I’d like to read. I probably won’t read all of them XD

    • Thank you!

And some of the Harry Potter books are long… so I completely understand that you haven’t finished rereading them XD

    • It’s so good! I’m actually rereading it this time around and it just gives me all the feelings. XD I hope you enjoy it whenever you have the chance to read it!
