Top Ten Tuesday: Past Seasonal TBR Books I Still Need to Read

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books From My Past Seasonal TBR Posts I STILL Haven’t Read. This is a tricky post because I don’t always pick specific titles for my TBR and I also don’t usually stick to a concrete TBR. But based on my past posts, here are ten books (or series) I still haven’t read.

The Bone Wars by Erin S. Evans (Spring 2022 TBR/Fall 2021 TBR): I was approved to read this via NetGalley… a while ago. But the release date keeps getting bumped so I haven’t found the motivation to actually read it. I probably should just read it and get it over with.

Redwall series by Brian Jacques (Winter 2021-22 TBR): I included Redwall series on my list last winter to read this year but after reading three of the books, I gave up. I just wasn’t that interested in the characters as I expected.

Girls of Fate and Fury by Natasha Ngan (Fall 2021 TBR): Last fall, I was all ready to finish this series and then when I started this book, I realized I didn’t remember anything from the first two books. I don’t know if I feel like rereading the whole series to finish it, though.

The Serpent’s Curse by Lisa Maxwell (Summer 2021 TBR): Instead of reading this, I decided to wait for book four’s release to read the whole series together.

Something Dark and Holy series by Emily A. Duncan (Spring 2021 TBR): I had this series on my list to reread in preparation for book three’s release and then some bad things came out about the author and the book and while I own all three, I don’t know if I want to reread/finish them.

Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger (Winter 2020 TBR): This was a 2020 release that I never got around to reading.

The Left-Handed Booksellers of London by Garth Nix (Winter 2020 TBR): This was another 2020 release that I never got around to reading.

Charming as a Verb by Ben Phillipe (Winter 2020 TBR): And yet another 2020 release that I never read.

Odyssey Award audiobooks (Multiple lists): I’ve had the Odyssey Award winners and nominees on so many of my seasonal TBR lists. I’m almost there and might actually finish them all before the year is up!

Physical TBR books (multiple lists): Just like with the Odyssey Award, I always include TBR books on my seasons TBR lists. I’m not usually specific on which titles I want to read, just that I need to get through them. I’m slowly working my way through the stacks…

  1. Elatsoe was great, I really enjoyed it. I’m interested in the Odyssey award winners, always looking for audiobook awards since audiobook readers make such a big difference (the Audie awards are the only ones I know of).

    • I’m glad to know you enjoyed Elatsoe!

And yes! Audiobook award winners are great. I should look into the Audie awards, so thank you for that suggestion too! 🙂
