Top Ten Tuesday: Fall 2022 TBR

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books On My Fall 2022 To-Read List. As always, this list is a combination of books I want to read, need to read, and hope to read. It frequently changes.

New books: There are always so many new books coming out! Here are my most anticipated for the fall: Rust in the Root by Justina Ireland; Black Bird, Blue Road by Sofiya Pasternack; Spells for Forgetting and Saint by Adrienne Young; Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng; and Cursed by Marissa Meyer.

TBR books: My goal at the beginning of the year was to read through the rest of my physical TBR books (books I own but haven’t read yet). I don’t think that’s going to happen so I just want to read as many as I can.

NetGalley ARCs: I don’t have a ton of ARCs to read yet, but I need to read The Wicked Remain by Laura Pohl in October and I have a few other books that I was approved after they were released so I’m not sure when I should have them read by.

Book Club books: I don’t know every title I’ll read for my book clubs, but there are a few already picked out, including City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab, Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, and You’ve Reached Sam by Dustin Thao, Year of the Reaper by Makiia Lucier, and Twilight and New Moon by Stephanie Meyer.

Audiobooks: I’m still working my way through Star Wars audiobooks and Odyssey Award winners and nominees. I’m so close to finishing the Odyssey Award ones!

What books do you hope to read this fall? Don’t forget to join the link-up!

    • I’ve read it before and enjoyed it! I run a book club for teens at my library so that was one I recommended we read and they picked. I’m excited to see what they think of it!

  1. That’s really cool that one of your book clubs is reading Howl’s Moving Castle. And, I love that Twilight and New Moon are on your list. I need to reread that series sometime. Maybe after I finish listening to my current audiobook. I hope you enjoy reading your books!

    Here’s my list: TTT

    • I’ve been thinking about rereading the Twilight series for a while now, so it gives me a good excuse to do it. I didn’t think about listening to the audiobooks, but that’s probably a good idea! 🙂
