This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Most Anticipated Releases for the Second Half of 2020. Again, so many books, not enough time. These are the ones I can’t wait to read!
Salvation by Caryn Lix: After the cliff-hanger ending of Containment, I need this book ASAP!
The Faithless Hawk by Margaret Owen: I loved The Merciful Crow, so I really need the sequel. And dang, that cover is fantastic!
Bookish and the Beast by Ashely Poston: Geekerella and The Princess and the Fangirl are some of my favorite contemporary books. I’m so glad Ashley is able to write more in this series, and I can’t wait to see what happens.
To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini: I am so intrigued by this book. It’s been years since Chris published a book (no, the short story collection doesn’t count) and I’m so curious how it’ll be since it’s not related to Eragon and it’s adult science-fiction instead of YA fantasy.
The Tower of Nero by Rick Riordan: As always, I will read whatever Uncle Rick publishes. And since this is the final book in the Trials of Apollo, I can’t wait for all the fun and hopefully no more deaths.
Winter, White and Wicked by Shannon Dittemore: The premise of this—Mad Max meets Frozen—is fascinating. I should have read one of Shannon’s books ages ago, but this is the first of hers that really draws me in.
From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back by Multiple authors: I loved the short story collection they released for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars/A New Hope. I’m stoked they’re doing one for Empire as well, and I cannot wait to listen to the audiobook!
The Nobleman’s Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks by Mackenzi Lee: This series is so fun and I love that Mackenzi is writing a book about the third Montague sibling. It should be fun.
The Cousins by Karen M. McManus: I’ll basically read whatever McManus writes, but this book with that cover? Oooh, intrigue!
A Sky Beyond the Storm by Sabaa Tahir: Ummm, who isn’t waiting for this book?
The Tower of Nero and Nobleman’s Guide were both on my list this week too!

You’re not the only one who’s excited about McManus’ new one. I’ve seen it on several lists today. I love a good mystery/thriller, so I’ll have to check it out as well.
Happy TTT!

I’m looking forward to Bookish and the Beast, too! I was so sad when its release date was pushed back. Oh well, at least we only have a little longer to wait!
